The contents of the water-sampling crate included: aquatic data probe & meter, GPS unit, digital camera, cell phone and charger, sampling bags, test kit, metal notebook case, scissor, latex gloves, water bottle, rope & tongs, and various other items.

The orange traffic cone was used to keep the cord of the data probe from getting twisted while still providing access to both the probe end and the meter end. The cone also protected the equipment when not in use. Designing a light-weight alternative with the same benefits was one of the most challenging obstacles we overcame.
